Agroprosperis Bank has financed 40% of crop receipts in Ukraine

As of April 2017 for the time of implementation of the receipts project 104 crop receipts have been signed in Ukraine, 43 of them – by Agroprosperis Bank. And it is only for one year of working with this tool!

 

The Bank has worked with crop receipts in six regions, including first receipts in the newly attached to the project regions – Ternopil and Sumy.

 

“Main priority of Agroprosperis Bank is development of such nontraditional for average bank lending products as crop receipts and financing under forwards,” informed Serhii Shchepanskyi, Chairman of the Management Board of Agroprosperis Bank, “These products are better adapted to the specifics of agricultural business and needs of our customers.”

 

Most clients, who signed crop receipts with the bank last season, returned for this product. So during the first months of 2017 the Bank has issued 17 receipts.

 

"We are interested in lending under crop receipts to small and medium farmers with land area of 100 hectares, but in average a farm, which issues crop receipts, has about 500-1500 hectares of land under cultivation and attracts additional funding for sowing season by issuing crop receipts," – said Serhii Shchepanskyi.
