Pavel Mandrenko is recognized as the best CIO of Ukraine’s agribusiness in 2017
Pavel Mandrenko, Chief Information Officer of Agroprosperis Group, is recognized as the best IT director of Ukraine’s agricultural business in 2017.
This decision was made by the competent jury of BEST CIO 2017, the Tenth All-Ukraine Contest among IT Directors founded by the Computer Review magazine. The official award ceremony took place in Kyiv on 25 January 2018. This win became Pavel's second. He was also recognized as the best CIO in the industry in 2016.
The task of BEST CIO 2017 is to identify the most competent IT managers who achieved the greatest success in IT development in Ukraine’s business during the preceding year. In order to determine the best, they considered both professional qualities and merits of contest participants, as well as indicators of management quality for all IT processes within the company. In 2017, 33 IT managers competed in 11 categories.
Another special 2017 prize – The Best Business-IT Tandem introduced by the event partner, Ukrtelekom – also went to Agroprosperis CIO and the team.
Director of Ukrtelekom B2B business Nikolai Davydenko, a member of the contest jury, commented on the win by Agroprosperis: "Our winner not only manages the IT infrastructure successfully, but also helps the business to be competitive. In cases when the competition strategy is based on prices, he implements IT tools for cost management, when a business competes in terms of service level, he implements a tool to improve interaction with clients. In the preceding year, a specialized application for agronomists began to be used by farmers outside the group. Thus, the IT sector not only increases efficiency of business processes, but also becomes a profit center."
