Agroprosperis Charity Foundation reports on the first 8 months of operations

Eight months of full-scale war changed us Ukrainian a lot. Still, the ability to feel the misfortune of others as one's own has remained unchanged at the level of the nation's DNA. And come to the rescue in the most difficult moment. Each of us is contributing whatever he or she can - a thought, a prayer, a shelter, a joke, creativity, homemade goodies, essentials or money, working in the homeland or fighting the enemy on the front line. "This is how Ukraine will win!" - the world admits, admiring the strength of Ukrainians.

 

These eight months for the Charitable Foundation Agroprosperis, which was created shortly after the war began, flew by very quickly, in a whirlwind of people’s stories from different Ukraine’s parts. Our landlords and their families, local communities where Agroprosperis Group companies operate, our employees and defenders, temporary replaced persons, children and the elderly. We have been supporting these people all this time. For us, these are hundreds of heart-wrenching stories about the pain and losses caused by war. Our charitable foundation deals with such stories every day. Our first response to them is, of course, sincere sympathy and kind words. The second step is direct and effective care for the victims of aggressor's actions. So here is a brief overview of our work results during the 8 months of resilience:

• UAH 10.2 million was paid to 942 people. 79% of them are AP Group landlords, their relatives and local communities. Over 50% of recipients are 55+ years

• On average, we process and satisfy 120 applications per month

• The three main directions of support are essentials (53%), small home repairs (14%), humanitarian aid to the defenders (11%)

• Over a third of the funds transferred by us was directed to the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. They were the first to meet the enemy and to this day continue to hold the defense of the northern border. Another third of the aid went to the Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions. Here defenders are treated, the elderly are cared for, replaced people are welcomed, and the Armed Forces are strengthened with their care and work.

 

We pay special attention to saving and protecting the lives and health of people in the villages where the Group's companies operate. Among the projects already implemented are participation in shelters arrangement for rural schools, repairs in hospitals, assistance in demining roads. We will continue to support such initiatives as well as individuals in the regions of our operations. Together we will win!
