Agroprosperis is among the top 5 largest taxpayers of Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex in 2023

As Forbes Ukraine reported, Agroprosperis Group entered the top five largest tax payers of Ukraine’s agricultural sector in 2023.

Last year the Agroprosperis Group companies paid UAH 1.4 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels. This is 6% more than in 2022. We continued working at all the stages of crops production and export. We fulfilled our obligations to employees and local communities where the Group's production companies operate. We further developed our business. We supported Ukraine’s Armed Forces and people affected by the war through the Agroprosperis Charity Fund.

As stated in the article "Drivers of the Ukrainian economy. Agricultural companies that paid the most taxes in 2023", for the previous two years domestic agricultural companies have been working in the conditions of economic instability. They had a lot of difficulties to overcome: occupation and mining of parts of Ukrainian territories, blockade of sea ports, shelling and destruction of agricultural infrastructure.

"Even against the backdrop of losses due to a full-scale war, the Ukrainian agricultural sector attracts investments, creates jobs, popularizes Ukrainian agriculture in the world, generates significant revenues for the state budget and forms a large share of Ukraine's GDP," Forbes Ukraine points out.
